virtual printer by java

the open source project is there:

Don't download it directly from the download link, because the link is for .net implementation.

if you need java implementation, then go to the sourceforce link and find the file tab and find the java section.

once you download it, you can check the how to run it link and run it like this.

Because the how to run it page is written in may years ago and it is not compatible to the latest version. especially for the lpd-xxxx.jar check the dist/lib folder and make sure which version you get.

And then, run it like this:

sudo java -classpath "/Users/Peter/Downloads/lpd-0.6.5/lib/log4j-1.2.8.jar:/Users/Peter/Downloads/lpd-0.6.5/dist/lib/lpd-20040316.jar" org.simoes.lpd.Main

it will popup a window, which written by java.

Then setup a printer in windows machine by following the how to run it link.
