Honeywell Android barcode reader settings

To make your app get the barcode by service receiver, you need do this settings on the Honeywell device:

Go into the “Settings” applet.
Scroll down to the “Scanning” setting and select it.
If using the “Default” profile select that, if not select the profile you wish to change.
Select the "Data Processing Settings.
Then click "Data Editing Plugin".
Then input: your app package name/the full path of your receiver name.    e.g. com.peter.hello/com.peter.HoneywellBarcodeReceiver


You may need enable more barcode types by:
Go into the “Settings” applet.
Scroll down to the “Scanning” setting and select it.
If using the “Default” profile select that, if not select the profile you wish to change.
Select the “Symbology Settings” option.

Several Barcode types should be switched on on Honeywell:

QR,
Code 128
Datamatrix
EAN-8
EAN-13
UPC-A
UPC-E
Composite
PDF417
GSI-128

Honey will may lose one digital number when it can some barcodes, to solve it:

Go into the “Settings” applet.
Scroll down to the “Scanning” setting and select it.
If using the “Default” profile select that, if not select the profile you wish to change.
Scroll down to the “EAN-8” symbology which should have a tick in the check box.
Tap on the “EAN-8” text on the left of the screen, not the check box.  This should open the EAN-8 sub-menu.

Tap on the check box for the “Send check digit” menu item, to put a tick in the box.

You need do the same thing to other barcode types as well.
